"My wife and I have talked about what to do in a roll on numerous occasions. It may have helped me when it actually happened, as I managed to keep all of my limbs in the Jeep. As I said before it went over without warning, so I'd like to think that instinct told me to keep myself in the Jeep, without having to think about it. We keep all of our gear under a shelf I built in the back of the Jeep, that worked in that it kept us from getting hit by flying tools/axles. The cooler was tied down, but it doesn't have a lid latch, so it emptied, need to get a latch on that."

0III0This thread is full of 'Cheap fixes & mods' for CJ's & is a great read!

0III0Here's one that's full of 'Virginia Trails' info & Jeepers that are local to me..

0III0HINT: Body shops generally have old hoods laying around that they're more than happy to give away. These make great sheet metal for body repairs.

After repairing the floorboards with fibreglass and pieces of hood, I Herculined the inside.

HINT2: Herculiner will hide all manner of lousy body work. But keep it off your hootus.

0III0For those of us who've switched to a MC2100 carb order a CJ V8 accelorator cable, it's about 4 inches shorter then the stock I6 one - it's Perfect for this application & not that expensive at all!

0III0If your T4 or T5 shifter is loose or wobbly go to your local Jeep dealership & order Part Number J3241481it's called an 'isolator' & it lists for $6.98 at Greenbrier Jeep Chesapeake, VA (804)424-4725
Here's a thread covering this topic on www.JeepsUnlimited.com

0III0For the tools you won't use that often, check auto zone. They rent tools. (Thanks Ken from JA)

0III0Today I went to the local performance place and purchased a MSD6A 6200 ignition box. It took about 15 minutes to put in and I mounted it right on the passenger fender. This thing is awesome! (Thanks jmarkel)

0III0Want to remove grease, grime & such? Use Oven Off...

0III0A friend of mine has been shipping some car parts through Grey Hound Bus Lines. He says it is alot cheaper, but slower. Steve @ CJ-8.org
