Croghan
Tract - Northern Flow (NY)
This area is owned by a number of timber
companies. The logging roads provide access to wonderful hunting grounds and

FR
85 & FR 225 (VA)
These are relatively easy routes. FR85 is a
bumpy dirt road. Some rough sections may need 4WD. FR 225 is an easy drive, with
a few steep rough sections that may require 4WD, especially if wet. Here are

502 & FR 442 (VA)
There are a lot of challenging, rocky areas
with water holes, etc. Four-wheel drive is definitely needed. Here are

Garrett
Trail System (MD)
Part of the Potomac State Forest, this 9-mile
multi-use trail is suitable for 4wd vehicles. Here's contact info and a map.
George
Washington National Forest (VA)
There are five locations in the park
listed with off road areas. They range from about 80 to 150 miles from the

Green
Ridge State Forest (MD)
For anyone who's never been offroad or who
has a newer truck which they just do not want damaged or even scratched, the
Green Ridge trail would be a perfect introduction to offroading. It's typically
dry, with some muddy spots & crossings. It's a rocky, bumby ride. Detailed

Meadow
Mountain Trail System (MD)
Meadow Mountain is dry and rocky. There
are 11 miles of 4-wheeling trails here in the Savage River State Forest. Map and

River Recreation Area (NY)
This 50,000 acre block of land is the
largest remote parcel among the Adirondacks readily accessible by motor vehicle.

Adventure Park (PA)
Located in northeastern Pennsylvania, Paragon

Lick Trail System (MD)
